Authority of Brooke in "the break up"

This scene involves the characters Gary and Brooke. I selected this scene because this movie focuses on the two characters trying to be the one in control, and to exert power over one and other. Gary in general uses his influence on other people to put Brooke in difficult situations. Brooke on the other hand, uses sexuality in the film to gain authority. Specifically in this scene, we can see that Brooke gains authority by 'unleashing' her sexuality. Both characters also exert authority by criticizing the other.

As gary is playing his video game, we see Brooke walk out to the living room naked. I think that this scene proves that Brooke and Woman in general use there sexuality to control and gain authority over men. The authority that Brooke exerts in this scene is very powerful, as Gary is caught in suprise and basically stunned and speechless.

Therefore i think in this scene Brooke has 100% authority over Gary.
